These floating plants provide on the right side for dim light:
Salvinia natans and Limnobium laevigatum.
Special features of the facility:
In the left corner a little "reef" of lava was piled up.
A large mangrove root was easily positioned to the right and almost in the center are a small root and a piece of driftwood.
A slate covers the filter inlet.
Aquarium equipment:
Lighting:
I light the whole with 2 x 80 Watt dimmable Giesemann Powerchrome Midday.
For touching the sun and the LED module Mondlimulation "GHL Simu spot" ensures. A special feature of this is to simulate the situation with glaring white LEDs flashes when the lighting was dimmed down.
Filtration:
Is filtered through the Back to Nature system which operates invisibly behind the rear wall. There are also all the technology is hidden.
Other equipment:
The water for the water change is filtered only through a Reiser block filter and then passes through a 2 column demineralizer.
For the CO2 fertilization a JBL 2kg CO2 bottle is in use. About the JBL Taifun the gas is washed into the water.
For the control of the basin I use the Profilux 3 of GHL.
