Get inspired to create your own beautiful tank(s)
Description of the aquarium:
Tank size:
90x45x60 = 30 liters ~ 7 gallons (us)
Specific features:
This tank is not a classic aquarium, but a Paludarium / Aquaterrarium / riparium and sold by the company Exo-Terra.

The structure consists of a carved Styrofoam mountain, which was completely covered with a 2-component resin / waterproof. In this still soft incl fine peat. Moss seeds has been flocked.
The mountain stands on 3 glass crosses, including so is water, incl. Immersion heater and pump. The pump delivers the water 50 cm high and thus feeds the waterfall. The moss thus has ideal conditions to grow all over the mountain, which is completely moistened. Thus, all nutrients reach all plants that grow on the mountain, because no capillary separation of water and land part (as is usual in terrariums with stream / waterfall) was performed.
In the right rear area (where the begonia is planted) there is a growing pool with a drainage of expanded clay and a top layer of peat with a drain for possible backwaters.
The water level is about 8 cm.

Maintenance: weekly water changes 5-7 liters
Fertilization: Easy Life Provito and OrchiFit of orchids Röllke
Daily fertilizer JBL Ferropol 24 (for more details on updates
