Aquarium decoration:
The ground consists of 30 kg silica sand beige 5 kg gravel 1-2mm and 2-3mm gravel 5 kg. This was chosen so that it looks more natural than if only one grain size is present.
At plants I currently still not to use in the aquarium, but I am thinking on one or two Echinodorus.
Special features of the facility:
The decoration of the aquarium consists of Riverstone modules Rockzolid which I have long been in the possession. There are installed the following modules: B, C, H, J. The J module was approximately cut in the middle by means of an angle grinder. In addition, the Stone modules C and D are bonded in the basin on the floor. These stones are "natural" caves in rock crevices for the Apistogramma represent.
Furthermore, two bog-wood are in the aquarium, which raise currently slightly once it stops, the slates are removed from the roots.
Aquarium equipment:
- Collar Aqua Lighter 1 black 75cm -> Currently still darkened with aluminum foil, these I possibly going a little removed so that it is slightly lighter in the aquarium.
the aquarium with a JBL Cristal Profi Filtering is e1500. This is only filled with sponge material, which has always worked well in the aquarium.
Other equipment:
An elderly heater with 300W is responsible for the temperature in the aquarium.
The following patches will colonize the aquarium:
10x Hemiodus gracilis RED TAIL | Redtail Federsalmler (WF)
6x (3M / 3W) Apistogramma iniridae | Inirida dwarf cichlid, (WF)
15x Otocinclus Huaorani (WF)
5x (2M / 3W) Mikrogeophagus altispinosus | Bolivian butterfly cichlid (NZ)
and from remaining stock:
6x Caridina japonica Amanogarnele (NZ)
Water parameters:
With water levels I've occupied myself only at the beginning of my "career", but am so far fared well without the measure the water values. I think, who spends enough time with its aquariums and this maintains good which is as good.
