Special features of the facility:
As a back wall I have two Slimline White Limestone selected elements of the company Back to Nature. These are installed so the result is a filter chamber. Inspired me was the example on the homepage Back to Nature. As stones I have chosen for this basin perforated bricks, these fit well to the rear wall offer us many small hiding places. The number is deliberately low so that I can take this out quickly when the animals change hands.
The standard T8 light bars I have removed and installed for a 80cm LED strip of ledaquaristik.de. It is to the model DAY with 5500K and 1990lm at 22W. The low yield is quite high and has a pure neutral daylight.
The filtering is located in the intermediate space of the right rear wall element. First, the chamber is separated by a filter mat over the entire height of the aquarium, then located in the chamber, a net bag with ceramic rings and another cube of filter sponge. The water with an aquarium pump Sera P700 is funded with 700l / h at 5W.
In the chamber there is also the EHEIM Thermo Control 200 heater, which tempered the basin at 25 ° C. In addition, the basin is aerated with a diaphragm pump Schego WS2 5W.
