> Nymphaea lotus (red Tigerlotus with tuber)

The water lily Nymphaea lotus "red" or N. zenkeri "red" is native to tropical Africa and can happen as lakes or ponds in temporary standing water there. It is available from the wide popular type of their species in the aquarium and, accordingly, often commercially. It is also often called "red Tiger Lotus". Nymphaea lotus "red" is a bulbous plant that forms submerged as well as floating leaves. Although it grows under low light, you should send stronger light you but if you want to prevent the expulsion of floating leaves. When developing floating leaves should intervene quickly as aquarists and remove them, because if the plant has even reaches the surface, it forms preferably floating leaves from. By continuously trimming the floating leaves of the plant can wean the continuous production of these. A nutritious bottom is particularly important in the cultivation of this plant. CO2 supply and the fertilization on the water column are also welcomed. Under optimal conditions is Nymphaea lotus "Red" very large and must therefore be kept by most aquarists in check. One popular method is to plant the plant in a pot and then use these in the aquarium. By limiting the root system as a growth inhibition is brought about. The proliferation of Nymphaea lotus "red" succeeds primarily on seeds. To this end, some floating leaves must be formed so that then also blooms occur. These flowers can be easily pollinate and produce seeds. The tuber can also be separated, but only if there is already a long sheet approach has formed thereon. This type of augmentation is not recommended because the mother plant this may also enter. Due to the enormous size that can achieve this kind, the design options are also limited. However, due to the red color, it provides a wonderful contrast to green plants and because of their size they can be beautifully used as focal point. With a little care Nymphaea lotus "red" is also well accommodate the aquarium, but it provides primarily to for large aquariums.

An attractive plant that is well suited for smaller aquariums. [Tropica.dk]

> Anubias barteri var. Angustifolia (Blue Cowslip Speerblatt)

The Anubias barteri var. Angustifolia is a beautiful plant with long narrow leaves. She was formerly afzelii Anubias as commercially, the latter is in reality a very much larger way. > Corydoras Julii - Julii-cory

This species is native to tributaries of the Rio Parnaiba in eastern Brazil and is often confused with Corydoras trilineatus, though the animals are easy to distinguish. The head Drawing the Corydoras Julii is more spotted, while it is trillineatus banded at C.. Both sexes can be up to six centimeters long. The C. julii is one of the easiest to care for and most adaptable armored catfish. The attitude of these lively animals is best done in a small group. The bottom of the aquarium should be fine sand. In addition to open spaces in the foreground, one creates with Julii-cory a dense edge planting and a few Moorkienwurzeln also areas which give them a safe haven. The armored catfish are an ideal company for South American fish of the middle and upper basin areas.

> Trigonostigma heteromorpha (Duncker, 1904) Harlequin / harlequin barb

Its natural range has this schooling fish in the black water streams and -sümpfen Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand. In the aquarium this Barben are among the problems to be maintained types. Because of its origin it is advisable to peat filtration or the addition of peat, although this is not absolutely necessary, but increases the welfare of the fish. The basic color of harlequin Barben is silver. They owe their German names the dark blue beilförmigen spot, which begins under the dorsal fin and drags to tail. In females, the leading edge of the wedge spot perpendicular, while slightly rounded with a bit of early tip passes in the male down. The spawning behavior of this species is different from that of many cyprinids, because the females lay the eggs usually on the underside of broadleaf plants from, rather than somehow dispense into the water. As food the danios accept Although almost every smaller kibble, but a regular Beifütterung with live and frozen food as a feed supplement is essential. For socialization, for example, labyrinth fish, loaches and Glühlichtbärblinge suitable. Unlike the other Keilfleckbärblingen (Trigonostigma hengeli or Trigonostigma espei) tolerate T. heteromorpha also moderately hard water and neutral, at least if they are from captive-bred. Fish from Asia:

Southeast Asia
Southeast Asia is divided into two region: In the Southeast Asian mainland (Indochina) with the countries of Thailand and Vietnam, and the insular Southeast Asia with Indonesia, parts of Malaysia and the Philippines.

In Indochina mountains and rainforests dominate. There has a tropical monsoon climate with humid, muggy summers and mostly dry winters. The Malay Peninsula and the Indonesian islands are characterized by tropical humid climate always.

In the rivers of Southeast Asia and many Barben labyrinth fish have their home. Much like in the East African Lakes living animals that have a very pretty color. Among the best known fish include eg mosaic gouramis, bettas, Tiger barbs and loaches.
