Further information:
Haplochromis thereuterion a whole new way in aquatics. The animals originate from captive breeding of the university of Leiden (NL). The information on this Victoriaseeart are very scarce, probably the animals reached easily part of the fallen into the water insects, which they collect from the surface. A few days after the onset of the fish lost their shyness and the male took the whole aquarium in fog, it turns aggressive especially against the females. Because there are so few, is working intensively on the breed.

Haplochromis nuchisquamulatus comes from Lake Victoria. I can not say anything because ch previously found no matching descriptions of the biology of this kind. In appearance, the animals are to the H. sp. "Red Shoulder" resemble (s. Victoriancichlids.com). The families of the juveniles so far I could not distinguish, but they grow very fast. The fish were of a member of Assotiation "Haplochromis" (FR)

Tilapia snyderae come from Lake Bermin and are probably the smallest representative of its genus, the males are already growing in nature with 5 cm, females stay smaller. 2 animals come from France by Michael Negrini, 1 animal by Jörg Albering. I hope soon to follow suit this kind.
